Greg Ballard

Greg Ballard / Human Resources Director

Greg believes in linking individual efforts to achieve better business results.  At Horne Brothers, Human Resources is focused on field operations support.  As a strategic business partner in the four core HR processes, Strategic Planning, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement & HR Administration, Greg brings over 30 years of Human Resources experience in Construction, Land Planning, Manufacturing and Technology.   Greg has an MBA from the University of Memphis and a BS in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky.  Greg is passionate about Better Leaders, Better Teams, Better Decisions and Better Results.  He understands that Human Resources creates an environment where people work together to achieve both the company goals and people’s personal goals.  He enjoys setting people up for success and believes that processes and procedures must be designed to support their efforts.
Larry Jackson

Larry Jackson / Technology Manager

Larry has over 20 years of experience in multiple technology fields. He joined HBC in May of 2017 to lead the IT Department. As the Technology Manager he manages the company’s help desk, voice & data systems, data networks and security systems. He holds an A.A.S degree in Information Technology from Central Texas College, a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Troy University, a M.S. degree from East Carolina University in Networking Management as well multiple technology certifications. Larry is an Army veteran and Alabama native who currently resides in Stedman with his wife and daughter.
Bennett Strickland

Bennett Strickland / Controller

Bennett Strickland has been with Horne Brothers for over 3 years.  Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University and Masters in Accounting from East Carolina University.  He then became a Certified Public Accountant before joining the HBC team in 2017 and is a current member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).  As controller, Bennett, with the help of the accounting team, is responsible for the delivery of financial statements and reports to further help operations with decision making.
Mike Hussey

Mike Hussey / Fleet Manager

As the Fleet Manager, Mike tracks construction equipment to include hours of operation, as well as, location through use of GPS and manual tracking systems. Fleet managment must work in conjuction with the HBC’s maintenance shop coordinating and scheduling the servicing and repair of the equipment. Cost analysis charts are developed to understand operating expenses for each job site. Mike is responsible for logistics and transportation of fleet and equipment to and from the construction sites.
Tim Juneau

Tim Juneau / Safety Director

Tim joined HBC in APRIL, 2016 with over twenty years of experience in Enviromental Safety and Health. Tim has a B.S. and M.P.H from The George Washington University and a Master  Certification in Project Management. Tim holds several certifications in safety and health and was a OSHA Compliance officer with the State of North Carolina for nine years.
